The first presentation of a pan-Canadian study asking consumers about the main issues affecting their diet.

Innovation comes from needs and opportunities. It is essential to equip ourselves with tools and approaches to identify and validate these opportunities in order to translate them into a value proposition that is recognised and adopted by the target markets. The voice of the consumer or client is one of the tried and tested methods for responding effectively to these factors. Submitting minimally viable concepts or products to a community of potential users provides high-quality feedback to validate hypotheses or detect other opportunities before embarking on the development of the innovation. These elements will be discussed by Daniel Leblanc, President of inBe, using an example and data from a recent study carried out on 1,000 Canadians on their perceptions and knowledge of various issues relating to healthy eating and their level of attraction to a number of innovative solutions.
