I am completing a master’s degree in biochemistry with a concentration in bioinformatics at Université Laval, where I am a part of Professor Elsa Rousseau’s laboratory. I also obtained my bachelor’s degree in bioinformatics from Université Laval. My research interests revolve around molecular biology and microbiology, with a particular focus on the study of phages. I am investigating their interactions with bacteria and their potential impact on human health.

I am also interested in artificial intelligence and its applications in this field. My project involves using machine learning algorithms to facilitate the identification of phages and bacterial biomarkers related to health variables. Additionally, I have recently begun experimenting with the use of transformers, a deep learning model, to predict phage-host interactions.
