Holder of a degree in Biological Engineering and a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Biotechnology.

He joined the Ministry of Industry in 1998, where he has held various positions within the Directorate General of Food Industries.

He was appointed as the Director General of Food Industries in 2012.

Since 2017, he has been serving as the Director General of the Bizerte Competitiveness Cluster.

He is an active member of several committees and technical commissions related to the Agri-food sector.
